The Mercers' Company, Incorporated in 1394, originated in medieval times in order to protect the trade of Mercery. In medieval times the company was at the centre of commercial life in the city and developments of overseas trade.

This is the third hall built for the Mercers' company, the previous 2 had been destroyed firstly In the Great Fire and then in the Second World War, and with such a wealth of historical links it can not fail to impress any client.
